The deal, in plain words.
These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use beliefbeats.com or order a track. We've kept them short and plain. Please read them before you order.

Who we are
Belief Beats (Belief Beats by LifeDeck) is run by 1319184-2 Canada Inc., Ontario, Canada (“we”, “us”). Reach us at hello@beliefbeats.com. Our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy are part of these terms.
Who can order
Belief Beats isn't for children under 13. To place an order you need to be an adult where you live, or have a parent or guardian's permission. Tracks are for personal, team and gift use, as set out below.
How it works
- You answer some questions about yourself, your team, or the person a gift is for, and pick a style.
- AI writes the words (a song or a spoken speech) from your answers, and AI makes the music, singing and voices.
- We make three versions, same words, different music. You hear each one in full on your private page, with a light “Belief Beats preview” tag over it.
- You pick the one you love and approve it. The clean version and the MP3 download unlock.
Delivery is usually within 24 hours, and within a few hours with Rush. These are our aims, not guarantees (see the Refund Policy if Rush is late).
Paying: you hear it first
- At checkout, Stripe places a hold on your card for the price shown, plus Rush if you added it. A hold is not a charge. Your bank may show it as pending.
- We charge the card only when you approve your track.
- If we don't hear from you, we approve the first version for you 3 days after your latest versions are delivered, and charge the card then. Your “track is ready” email says so. If you need more time, use a fix or reply to us.
- If you cancel instead (see below), we release the hold and you're never charged.
- Stripe also saves your card, because holds expire after about a week. If your track is approved after the hold has expired, we charge the saved card the same amount instead.
- One checkout can cover several tracks. We charge once every track in it is approved or cancelled, and only for the approved ones. Rush is charged once if any of them is approved. Promo-code discounts carry through to what you're charged.
- Prices are shown, and charged, in your local currency where we offer one, otherwise US dollars.
- Free tracks from a launch offer or a promo code cost nothing, and the same fixes and cancel rules apply.
- Gift cards are paid in full when you buy them. Extra fix packs are charged as soon as you buy them.
Fixes
Every track comes with 3 free fixes. A fix lets you change what it says, how a name is said, or add a line you want in. Each fix rewrites the words with your note and gives you three new versions. After that, you can buy 3 more fixes at a time (US$5, or the price shown in your currency), up to 20 fixes in all for one track. A fix changes the track you ordered. It can't turn it into a different kind of track or a track for someone else.
Cancelling
If it still doesn't land, you can cancel from your track page before you approve. We ask you to try at least one free fix first, and to tell us briefly what didn't work. When you cancel, the card hold is released and you pay nothing. For a gift card, the giver gets a full refund. Once you approve a track, it's yours and the sale is final, except as our Refund Policy says.
Your track: what you can do with it
Once you've approved and paid for your track (or it was a gift or a free track), we give you a personal, non-commercial licence to use it, worldwide and forever. That means you can:
- Play it anywhere: your phone, the gym, the car, a speaker at your party.
- Download it and keep it.
- Share it with friends and family, and post it on your own social media, including videos of you using it. Tag @beliefbeats, we'd love to see it.
- Give it to the person it was made for, if it's a gift.
Team tracks can be used by the team, its players, coaches and families: at practice, in the locker room for pregame, at team events, and on the team's own social media accounts.
You can't:
- Sell it, or release it on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music or other streaming or download stores.
- Register it with Content ID, a royalty society or any similar system, or claim it as your own composition.
- Use it in ads, or to promote a business, product or brand (a team's own social posts are fine).
- Pass the licence on to someone else, or use the track to train AI.
We, or the companies we license from, keep any rights in the music, words and recordings. We won't use your track or your answers in our marketing without asking you first.
Made with AI
Your words, music, singing and coach voices are made with AI tools, guided by our Belief Beats Method. That's what makes a track this personal possible, and it means:
- AI can get things wrong: a name said oddly, a line that misses, a word that sounds off. That's what your free fixes are for.
- We write every track only from your answers and check it against recent tracks so the words are fresh, but a short phrase or a musical idea may sound like something else. We can't promise every track is unique.
- In some countries, AI-made music may not be protected by copyright in the same way as human-made music.
- Because AI is involved, we can't guarantee any particular sound or result. You hear it in full before you pay.
What you send us
You're responsible for your answers. By ordering, you let us, and the services that help us, use them to make your track. Please don't send us:
- Someone else's private information without their permission: health details, addresses, phone numbers, secrets. For a gift, share what they'd be happy to hear in a song.
- Anything hateful, harassing, threatening or sexual, or that mocks or targets a person or group.
- Anything about a child beyond a first name and how to say it.
- Other people's song lyrics or content you don't have the right to use.
For a team roster, you confirm you're the coach or team manager and the players (or their parents) are OK with their first names being in the track. We may refuse or cancel any order that breaks these rules. If we do, we release the hold or refund you.
Motivation, not medicine
Belief Beats tracks are built on techniques from sport and behavioural psychology, but they're motivational, not medical. They're not therapy, counselling, medical advice or treatment for addiction, mental health or any other condition, and they're no substitute for professional help. If you're in crisis, call your local emergency number, or 988 in Canada and the US.
Gift cards
- Gift cards never expire.
- Each one is good for one track of the kind shown on the card. The recipient answers their own questions and gets the same 3 free fixes.
- Anyone with the gift link or QR code can use it, so send it only to the person it's for.
- We only email the giver about the gift, never the recipient.
- Gift cards can't be swapped for cash. Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy.
Share links
Your private track page is only for you, and anyone you give its link to. When you tap Share on an approved track, we make a public link that plays the track and shows its title. Anyone with that link can listen. Want it turned off? Email us.
Coach and partner program
Coaches, creators and others with a following can apply on our coaches or partners page. Those pages describe the program. In short: we review every application, approved partners get a code that gives their people 20% off, and partners earn 20% of what each person actually pays. Commission is earned only when a track is charged, not for cancelled or free tracks. Stripe pays it to the partner's Stripe account; where Stripe can't pay a partner's country, earnings wait until we arrange another way. Partners must say they earn a commission whenever they share their code publicly. We can change or end the program, or remove a partner who breaks these terms, and we'll pay commission already earned.
Using the site fairly
Don't misuse the site: no trying to break in, scraping, overloading it, guessing other people's links, or using it to make tracks for resale. We may stop serving anyone who does.
Our responsibility to you
We work hard to make every track great and keep the site running, but we provide Belief Beats “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses (like lost profits or lost data), or for things outside our control, and our total responsibility for any track is limited to what you paid for it.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer laws where you live, including Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, the UK and EU consumer rules, and the Australian Consumer Law. Where those laws say we can't limit something, we don't.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes go to the courts of Ontario. If you're a consumer living elsewhere, you also keep the protection of your local laws and can bring a claim in your local courts. Before anything formal, please email us. Most things get sorted out in a reply.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when. The terms in place when you ordered apply to that order.
